While reading Thomas Kotzing’s website, I came across a new free tool by Clas Isager that provides 2-factor authentication for Citrix Web Interface by sending SMS messages to your mobile phone. This is a really cool and innovative idea. “The SMS Token solution is splited into two parts. First part adds a new Tab to the User properties in Active Directory (it’s not a schema extension). Setting the mobile phone number and a token PIN is all that has to be done in the User properties. Second part is the modification of Web Interface to add the SMS Token authentication and is quite easy. After setting the SMS properties for the used SMS Gateway (designed to use an online SMS Gateway - sending HTML request) your done to use SMS Tokens.”
